Seminole lies in west-central Pinellas County, bordered by Largo to the north, Pinellas Park to the east and Madeira Beach to the west. Settled in the 1840s and incorporated in 1970, the city wraps the southern part of Lake Seminole. Seminole City Park sits on the Pinellas Trail beside a pond and amphitheater, and Boca Ciega Millennium Park offers boardwalks over the bay. Housing includes ranch homes, lakefront properties, established neighborhoods, townhomes, condominiums and manufactured-home communities.
