Largo is the third-largest city in Pinellas County, located between Clearwater and Seminole in the center of the peninsula. Incorporated in 1905, it grew from a farming community into a city of about 19 square miles. Largo Central Park, opened in 1995 on the former county fairgrounds, holds the Largo Central Park Performing Arts Center and nature preserve, and the Largo Public Library stands across the street. Housing includes ranch homes, established neighborhoods, manufactured-home communities, townhomes and condominiums.
