Along I-85 northeast of Atlanta, Jackson County blends historic downtowns with growing commercial corridors. Jefferson, the county seat, offers a classic courthouse square district and the Crawford W. Long Museum, while Commerce, Hoschton and Braselton add shopping and dining. Hurricane Shoals Park in Maysville features a covered bridge, river shoals and a heritage village. Homes include historic properties, newer subdivisions, townhomes and farms or homes on larger rural lots.
