Mill-Heritage City With Interstate Shopping

Commerce sits in northeastern Jackson County near Interstate 85 and U.S. Route 441, roughly 70 miles northeast of Atlanta. First known as Harmony Grove, the city grew along the railroad, and its historic commercial district still anchors downtown. The former Harmony Grove Mills building remains a local landmark, and outlet shopping lies near the interstate. Homes include historic mill-village cottages, established neighborhoods, newer subdivisions and rural properties.
