Dundee is a town in eastern Polk County, first settled in 1911, named after Dundee, Scotland, and incorporated in 1925. Scenic Highway 17 runs through the center of town as an alternate to U.S. 27, which passes just to the west, while State Road 542 leads to downtown Winter Haven. Lakes cover part of the town's area. Housing includes older homes near the town center, established neighborhoods, newer subdivisions and homes on larger lots.
