Lakeland sits along I-4 between Tampa and Orlando and is the largest city in Polk County. Named for its many lakes, it surrounds Lake Morton, Lake Mirror, Lake Hollingsworth and Lake Parker, with the Lake-to-Lakes Trail linking several of them to downtown. Florida Southern College holds the largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings, and Circle B Bar Reserve lies nearby. Housing includes historic lakeside districts, established neighborhoods, newer subdivisions, townhomes and condominiums.
