Fernandina Beach

Victorian-Era Seaport On The Atlantic

On the northern end of Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach blends a Victorian-era downtown with Atlantic beaches. Centre Street's historic district is lined with shops, restaurants and the Palace Saloon, ending at a working harbor known for shrimp boats. Fort Clinch State Park and the Amelia Island Lighthouse add history and trails. A1A and SR 200 connect to I-95. Homes include restored historic houses, beach cottages, condominiums and newer neighborhoods.
