Middleburg is an unincorporated community in central Clay County, one of the oldest settlements in the area, set along the banks of Black Creek. The historic district and the Middleburg Historical Museum preserve its riverboat-era past, and the creek draws paddlers and anglers. SR 21 and CR 218 connect to Orange Park and the First Coast Expressway. Homes include historic houses, rural properties on larger lots and newer subdivisions.
