Atlantic Beach is the northernmost of Jacksonville's oceanfront towns, offering a quieter stretch of sand and a walkable town center shared with Neptune Beach. Dutton Island Preserve and Johansen Park provide trails and marsh views, and Kathryn Abbey Hanna Park borders the city to the north. Atlantic Boulevard and Mayport Road lead inland. Homes include oceanfront and beach cottages, mid-century houses, condos and newer homes on quiet streets.
