Lithia Springs is an unincorporated community in northeastern Douglas County, once known for its mineral springs and resort history. Today it is the gateway to Sweetwater Creek State Park, where wooded trails follow a rocky creek to the ruins of the New Manchester mill. Thornton Road and Interstate 20 provide quick access to Atlanta. Housing includes established ranch-style homes, single-family subdivisions and properties on wooded lots.
