Southwest of Ocala, Marion Oaks is a large unincorporated community laid out on a broad grid of wooded streets near I-75 and County Road 484. The Marion Oaks Community Center offers recreation and gathering space, and shopping and dining cluster near the interstate. Ocala is a short drive north. Housing is largely single-family homes, from established residences to new construction, with many lots offering room to spread out.
