Hobe Sound is an unincorporated community in southern Martin County along the Indian River Lagoon. The Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge protects beaches and scrub habitat, and Jonathan Dickinson State Park lies just to the south. Bridge Road holds a small, low-key village center, and a bridge crosses to Hobe Sound Beach on Jupiter Island. US 1, I-95 and Florida's Turnpike serve the area. Homes include waterfront properties, golf communities and wooded lots.
