Communication is very important to me, and as a Realtor, I believe it's one of my strongest attributes! I've always been a "people person," likely due to my childhood spent moving from one Air Force Base to another. My dad's long military career provided many lessons and opportunities for my family and me. It sparked a curiosity and passion for meeting and understanding people from all walks of life. Figuring out what makes people "tick" and helping them solve problems is something I truly enjoy!

Eight years ago, I moved to Augusta, GA, from Virginia Beach, VA, with my husband, Joshua, and our three kids. My husband is a Marine Corps veteran and has worked in the staffing industry for 19 years. I thought I’d avoid moving around too much by marrying a veteran, but we’ve moved 11 times in 20 years! We’ve loved being parents and can hardly believe how quickly our kids have grown into young adults.

Marley, 22, is a senior at the University of North Georgia. You may have heard of her—she goes by “Grammarly Girl” on her thriving TikTok channel. William, 18, works hard every day installing AC units for Bailey’s Comfort Services and is excited to be pursuing his Data Science certifications from MIT. Penny, soon to be 17, is a National High School Honor Scholar, teaches American Sign Language to other students, and hopes to attend the University of Oklahoma to study Orthodontics.

As a family, we love spending time together—whether it’s doing puzzles at the kitchen table, attending church, or hunting for great vintage finds at local thrift stores. The thrill of the hunt is always exciting!

Before real estate, I worked in both sales and the non-profit sector, experiences that helped me build the skills I now use in my real estate career. After taking a break to homeschool our younger two children, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a Realtor when the pandemic gave me the extra time to study.
