Druid Hills Tour of Homes & Gardens

Druid Hills Civic Association Tour Committee, announces the 2018 Druid Hills Tour of Homes & Gardens and celebration of our 50th anniversary, April 20-23, 2018. The vibrant tradition continues as the historic Druid Hills neighborhood welcomes neighbors and visitors alike to tour homes featuring architecture from renowned architects, experience award winning interior design, see Georgia artists and explore Emory Village. ‘History Happens Here’ through the vibrant community culture of Druid Hills where tour goers will find inspiration, celebration, and a focus on preserving and extending the vision of noted landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.
One of the longest running and premiere tour of homes in the nation, the 2018 Druid Hills Tour of Homes & Gardens celebrates its 50th year with five homes and six gardens that feature the work of master renovators and landscape designers.
The tour will also feature a series of events at Emory Village and throughout the neighborhood including small bites of southern fare, performances from local musicians, and the opportunity to shop local farmstand produce. More information is included with ticket purchase. A few big events include:

DEBUT OF “HISTORY HAPPENS HERE” FILM
A film debut created by David Winston. A documentary of commentary from past residents regarding the development of Druid Hills, its trials, tribulations and triumphs over the years. Showing every hour on the hour.
LULLWATER GARDEN CLUB PLANT SALE
To be held at 984 Springdale Road
The tour events take place:
Friday April 20, 1:00 – 5:00 PM
Saturday, April 21, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday, April 22, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Individual and discounted group tickets may be purchased in advance on the website: druidhillstour.org. Proceeds from the tour, events and merchandise benefit the Druid Hills neighborhood, which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
Tickets purchased online will available during tour hours at Will Call at Lucky’s in Emory Village (1569 North Decatur Rd. Atlanta, Ga 30307) during Tour hours.
A trolley service will run during Tour hours along the Tour route, stopping near each tour home and in Emory Village.
